Brushos color crystals

I am on a mission to try at least 2 to 3 new techniques a week and to use at least that many of the various products I have. Join me!! Today's technique uses the color crystals with a background stamp, is pretty easy and can be found HERE
I used an old and retired Cornish Heritage Farms lace flower background stamp and the color crystals of emerald, turquoise, and ultramarine on watercolor paper. Butterflies are a Sizzix set that came with coordinating dies. Hello die cut in black.

Rainbow Smile

This is for the Lawn Fawnatics Color Challenge #25 found HERE , using a rainbow of colors and the Sweet Smile set. Card stock colors are Stampin' Up Lavender Lace, Gable Green, Regal Rose, So Saffron, and Ballet Blue.  Ran the panel through the Big Shot with an embossing folder- circles pattern. The gumball machine was embossed with silver tinsel powder and the "grout" lines are silver Nuvo gilding flakes. There is an awesome tutorial that shows this technique by Pat Huntoon of Technique Junkies found HERE
This card is going out to Jackson tomorrow and you can find his story and address HERE
Keep smiling, Jackson, you are beautiful and loved!

Beautiful Peacock

Welcome to my second edition of Making The Most Of It Monday. This week I am featuring the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration set Beautiful Peacock. I chose the French edition since I am in the process of learning the language, it is a beautiful one and a little easier than German :)

Past Dirty Dozen projects- October

I can finally show my Splitcoast Dirty Dozen projects from October! Various stamps, companies, dies, etc.

Beary Best

This card was inspired by Carlene (Chatterbox-1) on Splitcoast, she is today's Featured Stamper.  I couldn't wait to use this cute Beary Best set from Lawn Fawn, changing the polar bear and ice floe to a springtime mama bear and her cub. Not sure of the designer paper, it was a scrap on my desk so I went with the colors on it for the shaker contents. The inside tree is embossed in white and is from the Stampin' Up! set Thoughts & Prayers.

Woven Easter Basket

I have been organizing my designer paper and card stocks and came across this retired Stampin' Up! Kaleidoscope paper and it just seemed so springlike to me. Made a super basic and simple basket out of 12" x 1" strips. Easter is so early this year I need to get a move on :)
